What qualifies Dollar to be the first entry in our all-time greats list?
Dollar started his show career in 2004, going from the Puppy Class to the Open class undefeated at Championship Shows winning 9 CC's along the way.
In 2007, Dollar re-wrote the history books by taking the CC record at the first show of the year. What makes this achievement even more astounding is that he was only 3 years of age.
Dollar is now the current Challenge Certificate Breed Record Holder with 37 CC's. He was the No. 1 Akita in the UK 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2007 he was the No. 1 Akita Dog.
But, at Redwitch we know that to be an all-time great it is not just about winning first prizes in the showring. The measure of a truly great Akita is about whether they can produce. Dollar's Dam, Redwitch Heated Affair, has been the No. 1 Brood Bitch 2005, 2006 and 2007 from only 2 litters. Heated Affair's Sire is the UK all-time Top Producing Sire, Ch.
