Redwitch Stud Dogs

The Redwitch kennel has owned the UK's Top Akita Stud Dogs for the last 13 years including the Top Stud Dog all-breeds 2002. Since 1992, Redwitch stud dogs have produced many of the top winning Akitas in the UK show ring. On this page you can find out a bit more about the boys of Redwitch, past and present, and get some insight into the huge contribution that these dogs have made to the Akita breed in the UK.
Our first import was a son of the world famous Am Ch. Okii Yubi's Sachmo of Makoto, Am Ch. The Real McCoy O'BJ. Challenge Certificates were offered for the first time in 1990 and it was a McCoy daughter, our home-bred Ch. Lizda Zee Zee Flash, who became the first British-bred Champion bitch the following year in 1991. Bred to our stud dogs, 'Zee' went on to produce 4 UK Champions from 3 litters.
